Honestly, getting braces was a bit intimidating at first. I wasn’t super excited about having a mouth full of metal, but now that I’m done? No regrets at all. My teeth are straight, my bite feels way better, and I actually like smiling now.

Yeah, the first week was rough (hello, soup and mashed potatoes), but after that, it was pretty smooth. Appointments were quick, and it was actually kind of cool seeing the progress over time. Plus, choosing fun rubber band colors made it way more bearable.

If you’re thinking about getting braces, go for it. It’s a bit of a journey, but the glow-up is real.
